Happy birthday Sunny, Basil, Syami. Who are you really?

I have a deadline for 3 chapters of the "Daughter of the Wolf" due today, but I have to take a minute off to settle my thoughts, gather my strength, and write (which is my job) but not for money, just for the sheer pleasure of putting one word in front of the next and making sense out of what I say. Syami turned 13 and she calls herself Sunny, a boy. I am getting a new "used" fridge on credit, my credit card did not go through, and we are down to rice and beans again. But Monday, all my hard work should pay off and I should be able to get my debt to the bank paid, and yesterday, thanks to my credit card, we went to see VENOM and we also played D&D all day. It was fun.

A moment of rest

Finally, a moment to rest. A moment to write what I want to write, not what I am getting paid for. I only have one milestone left, and I have four days to finish it, so I'm in good shape. Worried about money, yes, of course. I miss the security of a salary, but on the other hand, the freedom that working freelance gives me has returned some lift to me.

Naturally, when I have free time, I go to my Dungeons & Dragons world, where I rest from the ordinary world.

I still have not picked up the guitar much. I wonder why.
